Job Title: Kitchen Cook (Maternity Cover)

Location: The Croft Farm Shop, Enniskillen

Contract: January 2026 – February 2027, with possible extension
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:30am–5:00pm

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and creative Cook to cover a maternity period from January 2026 to February 2027, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a small kitchen, preparing a variety of brunches, acai bowls, and occasional specials.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Assist in planning and preparing occasional specials.

• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.

• Manage stock levels, including ordering and rotating ingredients.

• Work efficiently during busy periods while keeping the kitchen clean and organised.

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

• Follow all relevant health, safety, and allergen procedures.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or small kitchen environment.

• Strong cooking skills with the ability to work independently.

• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).

• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

• Ability to manage time effectively and remain calm under pressure.

• Creativity in developing simple, fresh dishes is a bonus.
